Got hypocrisy? Steve Doocy and Tucker Carlson accuse a journalist of spreading hate filled lies in a Fox & friends screed filled with hate filled lies.
Fox & Friends is not happy with the NY Daily News which, OMG, had a cynical headline about how "God" isn't fixing gun violence. But it gets worse. Tuesday, Steve Doocy framed the Fox message: "NY Daily News columnist Linda Stasi stooping to a new low attacking one of the victims of last week's attacks in San Bernardino California." The banner: "Not Fit for Print, NY Daily News Article Slams CA Terror Victim." A photo of the writer was displayed beside a quote from her article in which she cited "two hate filled victims." Doocy described the victim, Nicholas Thalasinos, as "a known critic of radical Islam" who merely "posted his opinions on Facebook." He added, incredulously, that "Stasi painted him as a bigot."
Doocy lied when he said that Stasi said that "this guy deserved it because he was conservative." Doocy's guest, the smirking Tucker Carlson (who, on Alex Jones' show, defended Trump's "reasonable" Muslim ban) who said that the column was "reprehensible" but "it would be a mistake to focus on one out of control columnist at one failing NY City tabloid." As the banner read "Bloodbath and Bigots, Daily News Writer Attacks Victim Killed In CA," he launched into an attack on the left: "This is very typical. The left always blames Americans and conservatives, especially, for their own victimization." (This is what the right, particular aggrieved Christians, does, on a daily basis, on Fox News).
Continuing Doocy's lies, Carlson claimed that she was saying that "because this guy had views she disagreed with, that it's his fault." Naturally, he worked in an attack on the President who, according to Carlson says "ISIS exists because of the coal companies and the NRA." (Huh?) Carlson pushed more right wing hyperbole and LOL victimization with the comment that the "NY Times says you're a menace if you have a gun and that the left is always blaming Middle America."
Doocy noted that he, Carlson, and Thalasinos "have something in common" in that "we are all outspoken about Islamic extremism and now he is dead, he didn't kill anybody." The banner: "Blaming the Victim, NYDN Claims Only 13 Victims Were Innocent." Doocy whined about how Stasi refuses to see Thalasinos as innocent because "he had it coming."
Carslon whined about how the columnist is typical of the left which "conflates opinion with violence." He invoked the Planned Parenthood shooting to say that poor conservatives are vilified for their "free expression." He whined that this is prevalent on college campuses and accused the Attorney General of threatening to prosecute conservatives who speak out against Islam. After Carlson said (oh, the irony) that liberals hate those who hold other views, Doocy reinforced the lie that Stasi was saying that the victim "had to die." (Fourth iteration of agitprop lie)
If Doocy and Carlson are in agreement with Thalasinos' views, they are the radical and hateful right wingers that we know them to be. They're also liars. NOWHERE IN STASI'S ARTICLE DOES SHE SAY THAT THE VICTIM DESERVED TO DIE!!!! She merel posited that, like the shooters, he had radical views which included "frightening, NRA-loving, hate-filled screeds on Facebook about the other’s religion." His Facebook included this: “You can stick your Muslim Million Man march up your asses." He saw Planned Parenthood as a place where Democrats "sacrifice their babies."
Stasi excoriated the killers as "hate filled fanatical Muslims." But that got lost in the Fox & Friends victimization narrative which was just as hate filled as their lies about Stasi. Just like them, Thalasinos was a bigot. And just like Thalasinos, Doocy and Carlson are extremists.
BTW, what are the odds that Stasi is getting even more death threats after this piece?
Seriously? The majority of Americans are opposed to someone with a shotgun in their closet? How disgustingly absurd. Such a pile of human waste.
Buffoons…shameful, disgusting, seditious scum.
’Nuff said.
