Sean Hannity Accuses 'Comrade' De Blasio Of Anti-Catholicism Over St. Patrick's Day Parade Boycott!

Posted by Priscilla -25.80pc on February 17, 2014 · Flag

In the bizarro, Orwellian world of Fox News, those who call out bigotry are accused of being intolerant. African-American leaders who dare to speak out against racism are called "race hustlers" who are playing the "race card." When the anti-gay commentary (but it's biblically based so it's all good) of the Duck Dynasty patriarch was criticized, Fox talkers claimed that it was the LGBT groups who were bigoted against perpetually, in Foxworld, besieged Christians who are standing up for their principals. Duck Dynasty Defender Sean Hannity continued this reality reversal earlier this month (2/6) when he blasted NY Mayor Bill de Blasio for boycotting the annual St. Patrick's Day parade because it doesn't allow gay groups to march. For Sean Hannity, who sees de Blasio as one of Stalin's minions, this is proof of "the left's intolerance" and de Blasio's hatred of Catholics.

Standing against a backdrop, just to make sure you get the message, of "the left's intolerance," a serious looking Hannity proclaimed that "the left's intolerance...seems to be growing...especially here in the socialist state of NY." He reported, as the latest "example," that "Comrade" de Blasio is boycotting the parade. He played video of de Blasio over the chyron - wait for it - "The Left's Intolerance." In the video, de Blasio noted that he would be participating in other events to honor Irish heritage and contributions to the city. Hannity reminded the audience that this comes after Gov. Cuomo insulted conservatives like him. (awww).

After some casual banter, Hannity got serious by insulting the LGBT community. He stated, as Fox fact, that NY has gay parades which are so "risque" that he can't show pictures. Kimberly Guilfoyle noted that de Blasio and Cuomo are liberals and asked "why breed such intolerance and disdain for people expressing themselves." She asked why de Blasio is singling out the St. Patrick's parade but not others. (Uh, because the "others" don't have a problem with the gay?) After she said it wasn't fair, she scolded de Blasio: "If you're a mayor of NY City represent all of NY City." (Guess she wasn't listening to de Blasio's comment that he would be participating in other Irish events.)

Hannity splained it for the sheeple: "What he's saying is that he does not support Catholics and those that practice their religion." He noted that de Blasio doesn't have to agree with Catholic views "but at least respect them." He added that maybe de Blasio doesn't agree with the gay "agenda," but he's going to march in their parade.

Fellow Fox conservative Catholic and wall of genius Eric Bolling asked if those, who are not gay, can march in gay parades and, if not, should de Blasio be part of the gay parade. When he speculated that de Blasio is boycotting because the St. Patrick's parade is "exclusionary" the twice divorced conservative Catholic Guilfoyle said "it's because it's Catholic." (Does Kimberly know that not all Irish are Catholic?) Bolling continued to question whether those who aren't gay can march in a gay parade. Continuing the sheer profundity, Guilfoyle asked if de Blasio is going to boycott the Puerto Rico day parade because there are a lot of Catholics.

The oh-so-tolerant Hannity said that this is the "antithesis of inclusiveness...intolerance...this is him being prejudiced towards people's deeply held fundamental religious beliefs." (So it's OK to hate gays because God?) Guilfoyle reinforced the agitprop by accusing de Blasio of being "disrespectful," "condescending," and not inclusive.

Contrary to the idiocy of Hannity and his friend, the St. Patrick's Day parade is a secular event. It is not sponsored by the Catholic Church. I wonder if Hannity is aware that an Irish Labour cabinet minister is also boycotting the parade for the same reason as de Blasio. Boston's new mayor, Martin Walsh, will be boycotting his city's parade if gay groups are not included. I guess these folks hate Catholics?! And if St. Patrick's Day Parades reflect Catholic theology, the organizers of the Dublin parade are all going to hell:

DUBLIN—The largest-ever group of LGBT marchers strutted past half a million onlookers in Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, but participants say they hope St. Pat’s celebrants far away from Ireland’s capital city also took notice. “The spirit of the St. Patrick’s festival here in Dublin is all about inclusion,” said Dublin Pride’s Darren Lamont, decked out in a dress and dark red face paint. “We’re hoping that other cities around the world will follow suit...Procter said Dublin’s parade organizers—members of the Irish government’s St. Patrick’s festival board—were fully supportive of the group’s involvement, a sign that Ireland has changed considerably in recent decades..."

But Sean Hannity preaching tolerance? Seriously? I'm not gay but I've got more than a wee bit of Irish blood and on behalf of my gay Irish soul siblings, all I can say to Hannity is póg mo thóin!

And memo to Bolling: Non gays certainly can march in Pride parades. I am proud to say that I marched with some friends representing the LGBT crisis hotline the year that my state passed landmark gay rights legislation. The times are changing Bolling. Deal with it!

From Antoinette’s comment:

“NOTE TO HANNITY

You are what’s wrong with the Roman Catholic Church."

AMEN 1000 TIMES Antoinette! It should be PAINFULLY OBVIOUS to us all that Sean KKKlannity has NEVER, EVER read this ancient passage from the Bible:

“No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other or be attentive to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money”.

’Nuff said.

It will be interesting to see how many pedophile priests will be in this so-called parade.

This cafeteria Catholic fraud, Dolan has bigger issues to deal with starting with this little gem that has cost the Catholic church millions of dollars in settlements to victims of child molesters.

The story below examines the problems of pedophilia in the Catholic church.

“Why has the Church been plagued by so much pedophilia – predominantly homosexual?”

http://www.alternet.org/story/146920/what's_really_behind_the_catholic_church's_sexual_abuse_problem

The Stop Hannity Express does not expect Hannocchio the Thespian to raise this issue of sexual abuse of young males and girls by priests. Hannocchio and that blonde bimbette on his staff refuse to bring this issue up, so the Express is forced to do it for them.

Sick and Perverted Priests in the Catholic Church

http://www.bishop-accountability.org/ny-rockvillecentre/accused_priests.htm

These children are scared for life. Imagine the horror of being raped by a priest in the church, and the cafeteria Catholics looked the other way.

Dolan, Morris, Ailes, Hannocchio, Billy, the Underwear Model, Legs Ailes, and the rest of the Fox “News” cafeteria Catholics should have been ex-communicated from the church years ago.

Hannocchio’s $5,000 so-called “tip” is nothing more than a publicity stunt to keep his name in the media. He rather spend the money on his two spoiled children’s tennis lessons than low-wage earners. Any money left over goes toward the purchase of high-end beer.

Several issues…

First, there were several legal decisions affirming the private nature of the parade — it is considered a private event — and they can exclude whomever they wish [see http://www.nytimes.com/1992/03/17/nyregion/judge-refuses-to-order-gay-group-admitted-to-st-patrick-s-parade.html].

Despicable as this position of the Ancient Order of Hibernians is, many legal scholars defend it; even ultra-left lawyers like Ron Kuby who said so the other day on his resurrected local WABC radio show with Curtis Sliwa (in the noon to 3 p.m. slot formerly occupied by gasbag Limbaugh).

Probably closer to the truth is the fact these Hibernians are really a bunch of aging Irish drunks, who may not give much of damn about gays, but are terrified of offending Timothy “Chuckles the inflatable Cardinal” Dolan [http://www.cathnewsusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/dolanlaugh.jpg] and his personal pitbull Donahue — both avowed homophobes whose skin crawls every time Pope Francis opens his mouth.

de Blasio obviously doesn’t shake in his boots about retribution from Dolan, so he feels free to express his position by not attending the parade (and kissing Dolan’s ring on the steps of St. Patrick’s).

That Hannity sees this as disrespect is a no-brainer!

The bigger question is what Slanthead himself will do to celebrate and show his respect for the tradition of St. Patrick?

We can easily guess what he did as a young delinquent growing up on the lower middle class South Shore (certainly a far cry from his recent nouveau riche status as the squire of a 17-room mansion on Long Island’s North Shore).

We can just see Hannity — and a bunch of his teenage Irish punk buddies — tanking up on green beer, taking the train into the city and puking up on Madison Ave.

And Slanthead still likes the suds! Despite posting pics showing wine in front of him at the dinner he “hosted” (claiming that HE paid the $5,000 tab and left a $5,000 tip) during his SOTU visit to Washington, Hannity has been talking (on the radio) incessantly about how much he loves beer.

Just a regular mick! Hey Seanny, if you must barf, Madison Ave. is only two blocks east of your various studios on Sixth Ave.

Perhaps Ms Guilfoyle should re-examine her critical comment to Mayor DeBlasio and see where she’s kind of missed the boat.

“If you’re a mayor of NY City represent all of NY City.”

Well, Ms Guilfoyle, the mayor’s kind of pointing out that SOME of “New York City” is purposefully excluding another part of “New York City.” Are the St Pat march organizers excluding marchers who might be Jewish or Chinese or Black? I’m betting not. In fact, I doubt they’re excluding anyone from marching under their own banners—not even Protestants—except LGBTs who are of Irish heritage.

And since even LGBT taxpayers inevitably pick up the tab (through paying for police and post-parade clean-up), Ms Guilfoyle, it seems only reasonable that LGBTs should be allowed to participate. Just imagine the reaction from FoxNoise if a hypothetical LGBT parade deliberately went out of its way to exclude ANYONE, especially if taxpayers had to pay for even one single penny incurred by parade organizers.
