Bill O'Reilly Enlists Homophobic Pastor To Urge Christian Clergy To Kick War On Christmas Ass!

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on December 12, 2012 · Flag

While Bill O'Reilly says that those who oppose gay marriage shouldn't be called homophobic, there should be no debate about the homophobia of those who compare gays to pedophiles. While O'Reilly says that those who oppose Barack Obama shouldn't be called racist, there should be no debate about the batshit craziness of those who say that Obama is paving the way for the anti-Christ. Yet, during another crazed rant about the bogus War on Christmas, Bill O'Reilly brought in the homophobic, anti-Obama Pastor Robert Jeffress to validate Bill's new crazed obsession about how Christian clergy should go all Alinksy on War on Christmas violators. Given that Jeffress espouses a pugilistic version of Christianity, he and O'Reilly were true soul brothers. Does Bill know that Jeffress once said that Catholicism is a "fake religion that represents the genius of Satan?"

Bill began the piece by reporting that Newsweek has declared that the War on Christmas is over and Bill and his army have won. After he claimed that Newsweek said that "we're the good guys," he joked that "Newsweek didn't say that." (Newsweek didn't say that Bill won. They reported that there are fewer controversies this year which Bill interprets as a victory.) He then claimed that "there are very few stores where employees have been ordered not to say Merry Christmas, remember that was happening a few years ago." Once again, Bill might be telling a Christmas lie because despite his claim, in 2006, that Crate & Barrel and Best Buy ordered their employees not to say Merry Christmas, the employers said otherwise. Naturally, he referenced the evil RI Gov. who refuses to bend to Bill's' will and change the name of the state tree from "holiday" to "Christmas." Bill noted that he has asked "why, why" Christian leaders aren't joining his merry inquisition.

He introduced Pastor Jeffress who, after the election, said that Obama "is paving the way for the future reign of the anti-Christ." He also said that marriage equality victories will bring God's judgment on America for "backing evil." He has described the LGBT community as "perverse" and that there is a link between homosexuality and pedophilia. He warns that "homosexuality will lead to an implosion of our country."  He feels that Christian leaders should be preferred over non-Christians. He has also said that Islam "supports pedophilia." Jeffress also took some heat over his comment about Mormons being part of a cult.

Jeffress immediately validated Bill with commentary about how preachers, who are afraid of legal controversy, should stop "caving" to the ACLU (music to Bill's ears) and "fight for their liberties." He also claimed the popular Christian image of Jesus, as a peaceful "wimp," is bogus. Bill bloviated that the problem is with "school boards and other people who are under assault by the secularists and who know they're not going to get any pressure from the Christian community." He whined about how Caroline Kennedy wasn't "publicly chastised" by the Church and how, as a Catholic, he was "astounded." He whined about how RI pastors aren't confronting the governor. After whining about how the Arkansas pastor "pulled the plug" on the Charlie Brown play, he accused Christian pastors of "being weak."

Jeffress urged pastors to grow a pair because "wimpy pastors produce wimpy Christians." More music to Bill's ears with Jeffress' rant about "progressive secularists who are overtaking our nation" and how this "minority" is going to "take over our rights" if folks don't stand with Bill. O'Reilly agreed and ranted about how these forces are "extremely aggressive." Not surprisingly, he blased the evil, liberal media for being complicit in all this. He claimed that "Judeo-Christians" outnumber the secularists but "you don't see them." Jeffress shouted that it's time that Christians stand up to this evil minority lest we "loose our rights."

Pssst, hey Bill, I think the reason why you don't see all these Judeo-Christians who agree with you is because they don't exist and if they do, they just don't give a crap about your silly and non-existent war because - wait for it - Christmas is supposed to be about peace on earth and you're not exactly an exemplar of that!

Robert Jeffress has warned that a vote for President Obama is a vote for the “future reign of the Antichrist,” and told Janet Mefferd yesterday that if Obama secures re-election and marriage equality wins at the ballot box (it did), then America “is going to bring about God’s judgment upon our country” by backing “evil” and “reject[ing] God and His law.”

Typical democrat response – to just attack again.

What’s your problem with the First Amendment, teabagger?

And it’s Jeffress, moron.

Your depiction of the interview and Pastor Jeffries are as far off from the truth as anyone can be. Obviously you must not have any spiritual beliefs whatsoever that are true strong convictions. If you consider this to be an attack, it is not near as strong as the constant barrage of attacks on O’Reilly and Jeffries. Not much more to your article than one long attack.

I vaguely remember that at one time, Fox was able to present credible guests occasionally. Now it seems that they only offer one crazed zealot after another.
I wonder if that’s by design or necessity.

I realize the odds are astronomical that Bill, the Pastor or anyone at Fox will read this, but hopefully this will get through to some with the hope that we can put an end to this yearly nonsense. It must be good for ratings but otherwise it helps and solves nothing. In my small community they called the lighting of a tree downtown a holiday tree, and predictably our comments on our paper’s website were filled with outrage citizens repeating what Bill and those at Fox tell them to think.

Instead of feeding the hate and angry each year Bill, how but trying to direct this energy into feeding the hungry, helping those who are less fortunate and struggling to see to it that their kids have a present to open under whatever you want to call your tree. You have the forum to help make the difference for many by rallying your viewers to donate their time or money to local charities or do something as simple as getting a small gift to a neighbor that you know is alone and would appreciate any act of kindness to let them know that they are not forgotten.

It doesn’t matter if you believe in a higher being or not, what church you go to or not at all. What matters is how we treat our fellow human beings. I would think and hope that would please a higher being or more importantly another person in need and not this stupid name calling of a tree.

Sorry if I went overboard here, we now return you Bill to your reality and rant.
