Fox Trots Out Birther Lou Dobbs To Evaluate Donald Trump

Here's a perfect example of one way Fox News cooks the books, so to speak, of "fair and balanced." The O'Reilly Factor did a segment last night (4/15/11) purporting to "ask" whether Donald Trump is good or bad for the GOP. But their choice of Lou Dobbs as the sole guest virtually assured the answer. Despite the "we report, you decide" motto, nobody mentioned that Dobbs was a birther long before Trump appeared on the scene. Sure enough, Dobbs and guest host Laura Ingraham gushed over Trump for "talking about issues no one else is talking about" (as Ingraham said) and, as Dobbs added, "And should be talking about."
