Vanity Fair's Must-Read Article On Sarah Palin

Reported by Ellen - September 1, 2010 -

There's a terrific article about Sarah Palin in Vanity Fair: It discusses her cowardice with the media, her stinginess as a tipper, her bad temper with her husband and suggestions about her mothering skills.

It's very juicy stuff for those of us not enamored with Palin.

The article begins: Even as Sarah Palin’s public voice grows louder, she has become increasingly secretive, walling herself off from old friends and associates, and attempting to enforce silence from those around her. Following the former Alaska governor’s road show, the author delves into the surreal new world Palin now inhabits—a place of fear, anger, and illusion, which has swallowed up the engaging, small-town hockey mom and her family—and the sadness she has left in her wake.

Not surprisingly, Team Palin is already in a snit (a perpetual state, if the article is to be believed). Douglas McMarlin, a spokesman for SarahPAC, said, “the article is a collection of lies cobbled together by an outlet without standards. As the message continues to succeed, the messenger will continue to be attacked by yellow journalists seeking to increase sales."
