Scott Roeder Convicted For Murdering Dr. George Tiller – What Say You Bill O’Reilly?

Wichita Kansas: In a victory for our legal system and a defeat for ideological vigilantism, Scott Roeder was convicted, today, of first degree murder in the shooting death of Dr. George Tiller. Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly waged a lengthy, biased on air campaign against Dr. Tiller (whom he referred to as "Tiller the Baby Killer" on at least 29 occasions) which continued after the doctor’s murder. O’Reilly smeared Dr. Tiller during his speech at the “Family Values Summit” where he received a “Courage Award,” from the "Family Research Council," for his “pro-life” advocacy. O'Reilly used his public platform to encourage an anti-choice protest at Dr. Tiller’s clinic. Operation Rescue published, on their website, an article in which O’Reilly attacked Tiller.("Who Will Save the Babies?") They also praised O'Reilly's hit pieces against Dr. Tiller. Roeder stated that he has no regrets about the murder. O’Reilly has never expressed any regrets for his coverage. Justice, however, has been served. But that won’t bring back Dr. Tiller who provided a safe and legal medical procedure for women whom O'Reilly disparaged. Dr. Tiller was murdered by an anti-choice zealot whose views (he wanted to save babies) weren’t all that different from Bill O’Reilly’s. What say you Bill?
