Tell The FCC: Support Net Neutrality

Reported by Ellen - January 10, 2010 -

For those who love the level playing field now on the internet, it's crucial for your voice to be heard now.

As you may know, the FCC has proposed rules to prevent big telecoms from providing "fast lanes" for certain preferred sites and slowing down or blocking sites from their competitors. The big phone and cable companies are spending hundreds of millions of dollars lobbying Congress and the Federal Communications Commission to gut Net Neutrality, putting the future of the Internet at risk.

If you agree with us that the internet depends on net neutrality, please send the FCC a brief note. You can submit one online here, here or here. Please act quickly as the public comments period closes on Thursday.
