Fox Nation "Asks" Is (Al Gore) A Joke Now?

"Fair and balanced" Fox Nation has found a new way to demonstrate how much it celebrates American ideals, tolerance and civility: by elevating a snarky anecdote from a conservative finance lawyer named Lauri B. Regan who attacks climate scientists for not being enough like Sherlock Holmes (I kid you not). Regan applied the same deduction to a run in with Al Gore in a restaurant. Because he was nonplused, apparently, by her colleague's sarcastic remark about global warming, Regan concluded Gore "looked like a fool." That was all the Fox Nation folks needed for a top-of-the-page headline, "Gore Mocked Over Freezing Temps: Is He A Joke Now?"
I don't think any serious-minded person thinks Gore is a joke. But Fox Nation's claim to impartiality and its supposed commitment to mutual respect and national unity is.
