FOX & Friends Endorse Ambushes As "Worthy Cause"

Think Progress caught FOX & Friends praising FOX News producer Griff Jenkins for his ambush of Columbia University professor Alan Brinkley who, according to Jenkins, wrote "inaccurate material" in his textbook. However, Jenkins made it clear that what he really objected to was what he perceived as a liberal slant. Jenkins claimed that Brinkley had been invited to appear on the show, making it seem as though FOX had only engaged in investigative journalism, as opposed to unwarranted ambushing. But Brinkley says he was invited only after he was ambushed. The thought police have arrived, folks, and their pretense at being "fair and balanced" is a sick joke.
