On Tuesday's (6/24/08) America's Newsroom, much hay was made about Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) apologizing to two ladies that were asked to move out of frame during former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore's endorsement of Senator Obama. The two ladies were wearing head scarves, and one of the event staffers asked the ladies to move. Senator Obama eventually called the two women and apologized for the treatment they received at the rally.

America's Newsroom anchor Bill Hemmer introduced a piece that said that Senator Obama was told by Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) that Obama should apologize to the women, and Ellison supplied Obama with their phone numbers.
According to FOX News, Ellison refused to discuss the exchange with the "fair and balanced" network. Instead, Ellison said, "I can talk to you about my tie."
Comment: That's what every Democrat should say to Fox News. Good on ya, Congressman.
