Reported by Chrish - April 7, 2008 -
Oh dear. Bill O'Reilly's latest target, the Washington Post, has really gone and done it now. Those smear merchants have bamboozled the Pulitzer Committee into giving them six - yes, six - Pulitzer Prizes, including the prestigious Public Service award for reporting on conditions at the Walter Reed military hospital.
Other awards garnered by the newspaper are
Breaking News Reporting: The Washington Post staffNational Reporting: Jo Becker and Barton Gellman of The Washington Post
International Reporting: Steve Fainaru of The Washington Post
Feature Writing: Gene Weingarten of The Washington Post
Commentary: Steven Pearlstein of The Washington Post
The New York Times also picked up a few more for their mantle,
Investigative Reporting: Walt Bogdanich and Jake Hooker of The New York Times and The Chicago Tribune StaffExplanatory Reporting: Amy Harmon of The New York Times
He'll be in high dudgeon tonight! At least he has his Peabody to console him. Oh wait.
Congrats to all the writers, reporters, and journalists.
