Where's Al Gore? FOX News website buries him already

Reported by Chrish - October 12, 2007 -

So say someone just got home from work, 6:30pm ET 10/12/07 and instead of checking the teevee, gets on the computer to see the day's events. If you went to FOXNews.com you wouldn't know that Al Gore had won the Nobel Peace Prize unless you scrolled down to the "Features and Faces" section, where the former VP and 2000 popular vote winner hung out with Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon, Madonna, Anna Nicole Smith, and Captain America. Can you just FEEL the derision? Apparently of more importance to FOXNews.com readers, both of them, is a perceived slight to NASCAR fans.

All the other American major news websites, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS have the Gore story above the fold, if you will. FOX is hyperventilating in it's blatant efforts to downplay the honor. We can all imagine the hype, excitement, and extensive coverage if the winner was one of their guys. Party over country, shameful.
