Never Mind That Alan Greenspan Said, "the Iraq War is Largely About Oil," Fox Says the Bushes are Great and Oh, By the Way, MoveOn Sucks
Reported by Melanie - September 17, 2007 -
In his new book, The Age of Turbulence: Adventures in a New World, Alan Greenspan writes,
I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about oil.
Ever the drooling lapdog for the GOP, Fox's Neil Cavuto offered cover for both Bush I and Bush II today (September 17, 2007) in his "Common Sense" editorial. He even went so far as to say,
To be fair, he's [Greenspan] not saying the president went to war because of oil...
Comment: Excuse me but, "to be fair," yes he is.
Cavuto ended his nonsensical rant with more CavutoCrappolaBizzaroMumboJumbo:
Falling into the grassy knoll theory that everything we do is about oil, misses the fact that sometimes a lot of what we do is about principle.I don't expect MoveOn.org to say that. But I do expect Alan Greenspan to choose better wording when discussing that.
Read it. This is the kind of incoherent idiocy Fox feeds its audience every day.
