Is George Bush Using Daughter Jenna to Boost His Poll Numbers and Tap Into New Voter Demographic?
Reported by Marie Therese - August 18, 2007
This morning during FOX & Friends Weekend, host Kelly Wright may have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag vis a vis yesterday's announcement that first daughter Jenna Bush is officially engaged to long-time beau Henry Hager. Wright and co-host Brigitte Quinn interviewed Kathleen Murray, managing editor of BridesDecide.com, a new political website that has tapped into a what is being termed a "new" voter demographic, i.e., young married women. With video.
In the course of the discussion, as it became very clear that health care is the topic issue and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Rudy Giuliani are the top three candidates being discussed on BridesDecide's website, Kelly Wright brought up the President's flagging poll numbers and the possibility that a White House wedding could boost the Bush approval rating.
COMMENT
How low would this President go to salvage his tattered image? Would he, in fact, use his own daughter's wedding to create a positive image with newly married young female voters?
What do you think?
