Fox & Friends Target John Edwards For Accepting Speaker Fee in 2006

Once again John Edwards was the subject of ridicule for the Fox & Friends crew and this time they needed something to spice up their well worn $400 haircut routine so they used a speakers fee he earned at UCD in 2006 before he decided to run. 5/22/07
According to the F&F squad, John Edwards had a lot of nerve collecting a speakers fee like everyone else because he's successful and therefore has no right to earn money talking about ways to solve the poverty problems in America. The University paid Edwards $55,000 for his lecture which was part of a series pre arranged and pre budgeted by the University in early 2006. The fee included his travel expenses.
Of course, F&F mentioned how the tuition is going up 7% implying that paying John Edwards just cleaned them out. Someone cracked that he couldn't give it back because he needs to pay for the $400. haircuts. Gretchan Carlson finished the slam saying that Edwards is acting like Paris Hilton because he claimed he didn't make the hair appointment personally. They just love that haircut story
