Olbermann Now Names It 'Fox Noise Channel'
Reported by Judy - January 24, 2007 -
One day after calling FNC the "Fox Nothing Channel," MSNBC's Keith Olbermann has re-christened it the "Fox Noise Channel." With video.
On "Countdown" on Tuesday (January 23, 2007), Olbermann referred to FNC as the "Fox Noise Channel" while bestowing his "Worst Person in the World" award on Fox News' John Gibson, host of the "Big Story."
Gibson won the award for sticking with the fake story promoted by right-wing media outlets, including the Fox News, or Nothing, or Noise Channel, about Barack Obama having attended a radical Islam school while a child living with his mother and step-father in Indonesia.
On his show, Gibson insisted that the story was that some people were saying the campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-New York, had spread the lie in the first place, which of course, it hadn't.
As Olbermann pointed out, the people who were saying that Clinton's camp was behind the Obama lie included -- the Fox News, or Noise Channel.
