The Right Wing Sound Machine Wins Again

Reported by Melanie - January 20, 2006

At this moment, Fox is featuring a poll on its business news website. The question being asked is: Should the Bush tax cuts be made permanent? The results thus far are:

Yes: 87% (20,634 votes)

No: 11% (2,615 votes)

Not sure: 2% (596 votes)

Comment: While even Fox admits "this is not a scientific poll," and there are no mechanisms in place to prevent people from voting more than one time, the results provide a glimpse into (l) the effectiveness of the right wing propaganda machine, and (2) the ineffectiveness of the Democrats at getting their message out.

UPDATE: 4:55 p.m. EDT: My mistake. There is a mechanism to prevent people from voting more than one time.
