Fox Correspondent Should Be On The Daily Show
Reported by Donna - December 6, 2005
Fox correspondant, Greg Palkot, who is a correspondant used frequently on Studio B with Shepard Smith belongs on the Daily Show. If you've ever watched him, he's sort of slumped over and through half lidded eyes dryly, slowly, sarcastically delivers the report, beginning with, 'Hey, Shep.'
Whether it's making up a nickname for the Prime Minister of France(the Invisible Man) or todays story on Saddam Hussein, Palkot's delivery is very comedically timed. I really think he's missing his true calling. Today he remarked that Saddam was complaining about living in a metal cage under American Democracy. He then remarked that Saddam kept complaining that he's been wearing the same clothes for 3 days, the same underwear for 3 days.
Palkot said that Saddam said this has to stop. Palkot laughed and said it ain't going to stop.
Comment: You really have to watch the dead pan delivery of Palkot to appreciate it. I simply cannot take him seriously. I really think that Jon Stewart should contact him because the man is missing his true calling.
