What's new on FOX is four years old here in reality
Reported by Chrish - October 11, 2005
We made a recent addition to our categories on the News Hounds blog, an infrequent but not-unheard of happening. What makes this one interesting is that we finally added the elephant in the living room because it finally got attention on FOX - thanks to none other than Bill Clinton.
On September 20, 2005 I wrote of the White House response to Bill Clinton's comments ("attacks") about the nations's burgeoning debt. Looking through the available categories for filing, it occurred to me that there was none for budget deficit and / or national debt segments.
At the time of that post we had been monitoring FOX for 20 months and blogging 14 months, and this was the first time any one of us had seen a segment which gave more than passing mention to the lost financial security we had before Bush blew it.
It took the catastrophic damage of Katrina and the resultant mega-expense we will all have to shoulder to make this administration and their mouthpiece admit that we are in way over our heads. The enormous burden of Bush's elective war in Iraq will hurt our country for generations. It's so bad, even FOX is talking about it.
