Fox: Bash Democrats, Despite Having No Evidence

Reported by Janie - September 13, 2005

Yesterday (9/12) Dayside was once again missing from the lineup, and was pre-empted by coverage of the Roberts confirmation hearings, which was conducted by Chris Wallace, Brit Hume and Megyn Kendall.

During the discussion, they went to Congressional Correspondent Brian Wilson. He began discussing how important the "group of 14" are to the Roberts confirmation proceedings (the moderate group of Senators that came to an agreement over the filibuster during previous Bush judicial nominees).

Wilson stated: "I think the goal of some Democrats will be to try to splinter that group of 14,"

Wow! Really Wilson? What evidence do you have of that?

Wilson finished his sentence with: "it doesn't look like that is going to happen by anything we've heard thus far."

Comment: Ok, so you have absolutely no proof of this happening, there has been no talk of this, and no Senators have threatened to do this. If Fox is supposedly so "fair and balanced", why create such division or insert personal speculation with no evidence, unless there is a clear agenda to simply make Democrats look bad?
