Howard Dean & Hillary Clinton Get Equal Bashing

Reported by Deborah - June 11, 2005

Mort Kondaracke talked about the "Dean Disease" and pondered " who is the real Hillary?"Then both Barnes and Konaracke made fun of John Kerry and his D's at Yale which grow in number each time someone new makes a report. Business as usual but with an extra shot of acid added.

Kondaracke referred to the "Dean Disease" which attracts unfavorable attention because Dean keeps "shooting off his mouth".Then they continued the Fox propaganda claiming how Democrats are really against Dean. Clips were shown of Nancy Pelosi expressing her support for Dean and claiming she did not agree with one of his comments followed by Biden saying that Dean does not speak for him and finally Bill Richardson saying the same. Then Barnes referred to the meeting between Dean and Reid as "hilarious". Barnes ended the segment with this.
"Would you rather have a trash talking party chairman or a party builder? "
A photo of Ken Mehlman was shown on the screen.

Konaracke claimed that Hillary Clinton acts like Tony Blair in the Senate but when you put her on the stump she sounds like Howard Dean.
Then Barnes referred to Robert Novak's opinion that Hillary could never win the general election because of her extravagant, wild crazy language.

After Bono was praised to the sky, Kathryn Harris got the thumbs up from both Boys who made a point of mentioning her honesty during the 2000 election. One of the witty guys quipped that she probably got better grades then John Kerry in college.

comment: Two older, old fashioned , stuffy guys talking politics might appear harmless to viewers but I feel that Beltway Boys is one of the most powerful propaganda tools on Fox. Their message was totally distorted but people trust them because they look like such kind gentleman.
