Beckel & Colmes Roll Over Hannity

Hannity , running out of ammunition to make Senate Democrats look bad, had only his left over video clip of Ted Kennedy tonight on H&C's debate on the Senate judiciary battle. Beckel and Colmes were well prepared and in the short debate segment managed to make Hannity and Ben Ginsberg look very foolish.
Colmes showed a clip of Frist mumbling, stuttering and totally shaken after he was confronted with his filibuster of Clinton's nominee, Richard Paez. Frist, who has been raving about the Democrats unprecedented used of the Filibuster,was unable to lie his way out of the situation and looked like he was praying for a trap door to open and swallow him up.
Then Hannity was hit with Santorum's Hitler analogy and Beckel added that he had never heard anyone evoke Hitler during a debate on the Senate floor.
Hannity and Ginsberg tried to save face claiming that Ted Kennedy, Robert Byrd and Chuck Schumer all tried to get rid of the filibuster when they were the majority. Then Hannity played the race card wanting to know how Democrats could be against " a sharecroppers daughter raised in the South with Jim Crow who put herself through school...." Beckel came out with a line that was priceless.
" I don't care if she's a one legged, left wing, Lithuanian lesbian. She's not a good judge."
Colmes and Beckel flattened the opposition with ease tonight because they were focused, confident and relaxed. Beckel never falls for Hannity's intimidation tactics and his in your face candor can usually destroy Hannity's confidence. Too bad that more Democrats haven't realized that Hannity's bluster can be so easily diffused.
