Two Guests, One Viewpoint.

Reported by Melanie - September 17, 2004 -

One of the segments on Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (September 17, 2004) was devoted to discussing discrepancies between the many recent polls.

The first guest was ultra-conservative Republican and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The second guest was Pat Caddell, labeled a "Democratic strategist," and referred to by Cavuto as both a "former" pollster and a "brilliant pollster." Both guests predicted a Bush victory. Gingrich said he thought that in the end it'd be Bush 58% and Kerry 42%. Caddell said "you have to hand it to the Republicans," and that he thought it might be a "landslide" for Bush.

COMMENT: Here's some very relevant background on Pat Caddell. Pat Caddell has been all over the political map of late and he's hardly a true Democratic voice. If Fox's viewers thought they were hearing a "fair and balanced" discussion, they were sadly mislead.
