All The World's His Stage

Nora O'Donnell, connected by phone with Chris Matthews, from the Bush campaign entourage, landing tonight at Kennedy airport. She had some news that raised some interesting questions about the expectations for Bush's speech tomorrow. 9/1/04 MSNBC 7:45PM
Nora told Chris that the Convention Hall will be closed late tonight through tomorrow, so workers can completely rebuild the stage before King George's speech tomorrow night. Nora explained that a new stage was necessary to properly showcase the President.
One must wonder why the needs of GW were not considered before the original construction of the stage? What is it about the current stage, that concerns everyone? Finally, who's paying for it?
