Beirut a "Prosperous City?" Who Knew?

Mike Embley opens with a report on the BBC World News about the OPEC meeting tomorrow in Beirut, Lebanon, "now a prosperous...city."
COMMENT: Lebanon is still portrayed in the US media as a place of demolished buildings and lawlessness. I don't think video of any length of Beirut has been shown on US television since the l980's. American's have no idea what's going on there.
