Need some motivation to get out and vote? Think about this: Your vote is not just a vote for candidates but it can strike back at Fox News propaganda. Let Roger Ailes' GOP operation know what you think of Benghazi-Gate, Donald Trump, birtherism, Karl Rove and Sean Hannity! Need some information about where to vote and what to bring? Go to http://vote.barackobama.com for answers. Also, please know that so long as you are in line when the polls close, you will be able to vote and your vote will be counted.
We'll be live blogging Fox News' election coverage. Join us around 7 PM ET tonight!

I brought my 18 yo to vote for the first time today. A big thank you to her college English prof for giving an assignment to analyze the factual content of presidential advertisements to her class! You can imagine which candidate fared better in that regard. And the kids got to figure it out on their own. Nice!

Ellen’s right: voting IS the best revenge.
For some additional motivation, check out this “bumper sticker” of vote buttons, courtesy La Cucaracha via TPC:

I especially love the one that says, “VOTE — it angers the billionaires” . . .

I voted this morning in CA, I was #20 in my precinct. There were fortunately no shenanigans at all where I live, everybody very courteous and respectful. I can’t wait to watch rightwing heads explode all over America tonight as President Obama is re-elected. Yes, I’m calling it right now. Have faith folks. The better man will win!

Well, I did my call-room duties, responded to almost every Michelle Obama email with a donation, and generally tried to be calm and reasonable during this overlong and anxious process. I have to admit, I still feel that I didn’t do enough.
It’s going to be a looooooong day, but I’m starting to feel that Obama will prevail, and that is most important to the entire country. How ANYONE could support a party that literally stands for lies and deception really escapes me. I must still be too much of an idealist to comprehend the Republican/TeaBagger mind(?).
I have to thank all the Newshounds for helping me maintain what little grasp on sanity I have left!

Gov. Sarah Palin will deliver informative, erudite, & edifying election commentary on FOX tonight. She is always alert, adroit, & authentic; never agitated, acrimonious, or acerbic. Don’t miss it.
