Sean Hannity is forever pouting that he and Republicans are unfairly characterized as wanting "dirty air, dirty water." But some new research puts the lie to that claim. Caught on tape!
Media Matters did the math and they counted 192 examples of Sean Hannity complaining about that meanie "dirty air" and "dirty water" accusation. But he has not spent any time discussing the recent chemical spill that left 300,000 West Virginians without usable tap water. Media Matters notes that the incident was "made more likely by the anti-regulation policies he supports."
Yet just when Hannity has a chance to defend his "pro-environment stance" in a real-life setting - why, the cat fox seems to have gotten his tongue!
The video below, also via Media Matters, is priceless.
Hannocchio and the rest of the Oysters on the Island would probably sign petitions stopping fracking on this precious, overpriced property. He would probably call his buddies in Washington to try to stop it as well.
The Stop Hannity Express urges the masses to write editorials to West Virginia newspapers, and call local radio stations blasting Hannocchio’s hypocrisy. Ask them why he never mentions their plight on tv.
Let’s get you started.
Hannocchio mentions dirty air and dirty water, yet he has not mentioned the crisis going on in West Virginia. If you are a regular viewer or listener to Hannocchio’s show it must bother you that he ignores you. Is he a Great American? Judging by his silence-no. Why waste your time listening to an elitist who could care less about you?
We saw Hannochio pimping his food insurance sponsor. Gotta earn those commissions.
NOTE TO HANNITY
The only thing that is dirty is your personality.
Surely, someone is jesting. One of Hannity’s sworn missions in recent years has been nothing less than the total rape of the environment!
Most recently with his 2014 manifesto (or whatever he calls it), Slanthead has been screeching: “Drill everywhere! Frack everywhere!”
He raves constantly about the benefits fracking brings to the economies of Texas and North Dakota. Never once mentions the environmental damage caused so far or still to come.
In his personal attacks on Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Hannity has ripped into him for delaying approval of widespread fracking in New York State (think he would change his mind and not leave in 2017 if they fracked?)
Slanthead wouldn’t give a rats ass if they fracked all over the vast (1.26 million acres) upstate watershed for NYC. Hell, he don’t drink the water here; he’s been bragging on the radio lately about his thirst for beers while in Manhattan.
Maybe they should frack out on the Island Seanny? So what if they pollute the 3 big aquifers out there (supplying almost 100 percent of LI’s drinking water)? Probably won’t bother you because you get bottled water from your right-wing survival food supplier (and apparently still one of your dwindling radio sponsors) http://www.foodinsurance.com/hannity
Whatcha gonna do Slanthead, if a big, permanent breeze comes along and they build wind turbines in the LI Sound, within sight of your North Shore Bunker?
Oh wait, you’re moving. Hey, maybe there’s a big wind potential right offshore at your Naples, Fl. beachfront condo, the Moraya Bay?
. . . but apparently not enough to be waterboarded with it.
