On Fox News Sunday, the panel discussed strains between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. Although guest Peter Baker, of the New York Times, pointed out that Saudi Arabia wants President Obama to do things he has no political support at home to do, Brit Hume made sure to find a way to blame Obama.
Hume said, “The key point is, the president is being asked by a foreign ally to do something hard. This President doesn’t like to do things that are hard. He likes to do things that are politically easy. If it’s politically hard, there’s a great, great likelihood he won’t do it.”
The Washington Monthly has a list of President Obama’s top 50 accomplishments. Many, if not most, were politically difficult.
