Of course ANYBODY who says ANYTHING questioning the good friends and associates of the fiercely non partisan Fox Party will be called out for their attacks. Since they seem to liken everything to a brutal conflict I believe it will/should be headlined on all of Fox’s media outlets as ‘The Liberal and Mainstream Media’s War on Stupidity’. Wherein Fox and pundits will advocate for all the mentally deficient and gullible American population as persons who contribute enormously to the economy and supply jobs for a sector of America who would otherwise be unhireable. Fox News hires almost 15000 people.
Yo, Jaime Pretell. He wasn’t ‘walking behind houses’ he was walking down the street. Unless of course Zimmerman was driving behind houses when he saw him. Also, after Zimmerman spooked him changed his path to avoid confrontation and veered from the street to a ‘walkway’ behind and between the two sets of housing structures that you so wrongly call ‘houses’. That’s why Zimmerman had to leave the ‘safety’ of his automobile to follow him. I suggest you go back about a month and catch up on the events before you make more unknowledgeable posts. And I hope Santa doesn’t get blown away next Christmas by one you people who feel that because his features are hidden you have the right to stalk him and than shoot him. Better yet. Picture this.Lets say a female relative of yours, or anyone who says this was justified, has a stranger following her as she walks down the street and as she gets nervous she detours down a walkway away from the street and the person gets out of his car and follows her down a path. So she turns around and Maces him and than the stalker pulls out a gun and fires one thru her chest. Would you be championing for the stalker? I think not.
First off Ailes is about as much of a ‘newsman’ as Herman Cain is a ‘pizza chef’. And even if he were, I always thought that newsmen were supposed to strive to be trusted and informative, NOT Influential.
Adjective:
Having great influence on someone or something.
So I can assume that Hannity, being the Journalist he is, will have a followup piece on O’Lielly having his lawyer talk to the lawyer of Mackris and offer to give her money to sign a non disclosure agreement promising to not to talk to the press. Boy I bet he’s gonna ream him. I’m gonna tune in tonight for that one.
The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal, based on the Nuremberg Charter, is proceeding to the enforcement phase after officially convicting George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and lawyers of war crimes in a packed court Friday where legal experts heard shocking testimonies of American torture inflicted by United States soldiers such as removing fingernails with pliers, electrocutions and sexual humiliation.
Between this and today’s Murdochgate arrests I am
giddy as a school girl.
I read that “Perverting the course of justice” carries a maximum life sentence but we all know nothing they do to these people will come close to that. While I hate to sit back with a beer in hand and gloat all I feel comfortable saying is, pour me a shot and after a couple more oat sodas I will be basking in the glow of schadenfreude. LETTHEGAMESBEGIN.
I found it worded better than my post (gee, surprise) on Media Matters:
All of this has been made plain by a scathing new Parliament report issued today, which condemns the News Corp. CEO for being not only unfit to run an international corporation, but also for having turned "a blind eye and exhibited willful blindness to what was going on in his companies and publications. The inquiry found the culture of corruption permeated “from the top” of News Corp.; corruption that “speaks volumes” about the company’s “lack of effective corporate governance.”
Why he even agreed to go on a show like O’liely is beyond me. Perhaps his close friends told him this show was nothing more than an ambush in waiting. Or it could be that being a credible journalist with friends all over the globe he decided it would be best to blow off an interview with a “news” outlet that was about (today) to have it’s owner (Rupert and son) castigated by a British Commission saying that (paraphrasing) the owner of this media outlet was personally incapable of running a professional business, and should have their rights to do so revoked. This ruling came today but was only a couple of votes short (conservatives refused to include this wording in the middle of the 85 page decision) of the official findings in Britain. (See Fox News Story: Murdoch and Son are Fu@#ing Brain Dead says British Commission —-I believe it is under the Fox Nation headline: “Today it was Overcast and Foggy in England, What is Obama trying to hide?”. NPR might have a more in depth story. I heard it on the radio a few hours ago.
Of course the host didn’t notice the Button. She would have had to look away from the script that all Fox mouthpieces have to follow. Notice they never dropped the Chyron in order to cover the pin up.
Dennis. You have a very ‘interesting’ take on the subject. For a while there I was thinking you were serious with this post until I got to the “Due to the position Ailes finds himself (an ally of the Bush Family) he no longer is a neutral observer that the National media would like to paint him,…” That line gave away that you were being sarcastic with the whole post. Very funny. You had me there for a while.
I was over at Fox Nation conversing with the ‘Aristocrats’ about the charges and if you try to type Hannity in the comment in any way, as in “Can he claim the Hannity Insanity defense?” you have to break up H A N N I T Y or else you get moderated. I guess they are trying to distance Sean from this mess. Funny since he has been spewing his garbage on air and on Fox Nation for weeks and they had no problem with that.
The deferment thing is up in the air from what I have read but I think the real problem is that whenever there is a conflict some good ole boy conservative writes a poorly composed/pandering song to cash in and is hailed as a good Merkin, but when a liberal speaks their mind they usually take a hit for it or get Dixie Chicked. And as for this great “American classic”. Greenwood also wrote another version called God Bless Canada. I guess he doesn’t mind changing the words himself, if there’s profit to be made.
Thoughts?? Are Fox News people the stupidest f@#kin people on the planet? Tweet me with your thoughts @Americas Most Clueless and/or @Hydrogen Peroxide Causes Idiotism.
Rocky. I can’t believe I am doing this but, yeah, Fox finally got one thing right with the Duke case. If you try often enough you have to eventually get something right. Eventually the law of odds fall in your favor. And, shit, I myself have a BIG problem with the Rev. Al in the Tawanna B. case. I will never forget how he blamed innocent law enforcement officials BY NAME, impeded the investigation, and NEVER apologized for it. So there you have it. But I don’t, and never will use Sharpton as a source for anything I post. Just as I will take everything Fox has to say with the same grain of salt.
But don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to infer that they are a collection of pious, hypocritical, self righteous, and self serving snake oil salesmen, enriching themselves and their agenda under the guise of religion. Believe me. You will never see me post something to that effect.
