Team Romney Angry At Rupert Murdoch

Posted by Ellen -394pc on July 03, 2012 · Flag

Politico reports that Rupert Murdoch is still using Twitter to promote his advice to the Mitt Romney campaign. Although to listen to Fox News, you'd think Romney has already won the election, Murdoch seems to be getting jittery. As I've recently posted, Murdoch has been taking to Twitter to get out his advice and admonitions to the Romney campaign. Apparently, the Romney campaign doesn't appreciate it.

Previously, Murdoch has tweeted the need for Romney to get a better campaign team and that he needs to mount a more aggressive challenge to President Obama. Now Murdoch has tweeted his frustration over the Romney campaign's response. As per Politico, Murdoch tweeted yesterday:

@rupertmurdoch Romney people upset at me! Of course I want him to win, save us from socialism, etc but should listen to good advice and get stuck in!

You'd think Murdoch would have enough on his hands what with the phone hacking scandal and all. But it just goes to show that meddling in politics is still a high priority for him.

Mitt’s team is a bit weak. Which one of them thought it a good idea to have the CEO of Barclays, which was in the process of being fined almost half a billion dollars for interest rate fixing, head up a fund raising party in London?

Morons, absolute morons or so morally bankrupt they could not see a PR disaster ahead.

truman, why do you think Rupert started the FakeNews network? He had to have SOMETHING in the US that told everyone else to believe what he thinks. (One of the main reasons why the No-Real-Journalists-Need-Apply Network offered little-to-no coverage of the hacking scandal. Rupie was getting enough of that in the UK; he didn’t need to hear it from his employees in the US.)
