There is a difference to be made here which these eedjits don’t make. There are stupid Christians. the religious right/GOP-vangelists being an entire group of stupid Christians. Their talk, their theology, their interpretation of scripture, their world view points to their understand of God as being so utterly small and so utterly concerned with humanity, it is no wonder they are treated with contempt. Look at the Web, the Cable networks and go to any ’christianist" book store and you find that the level of theological and biblical study has not progressed beyond the burning of witches and the driving of stakes through the hearts of suspected vampires. That FOX News has this on shows the degree of seriousness with which truth is explored. Fox News and christianists passing themselves off as defenders of the faith? Oh please.
