Tell Congress And Rep. Issa: Hold Murdoch Accountable
Earlier this week, Republican Congressman Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, assured told Fox News host Bret Baier that he would not investigate allegations that Fox’s parent company News Corp. hacked into 9/11 victims’ phones and/or violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. This, despite the requests of Democratic Ranking Member Rep. Elijah Cummings along with other members of the Committee. Among Issa’s other excuses, he didn’t want to pick on any media. But Fox News has long worked in tandem with Issa so his refusal to investigate News Corp. comes as no surprise. That’s why public pressure is needed. Please join with us in supporting Free Press’ campaign to tell Congress: Hold Murdoch Accountable and sign a letter to Issa.

Fox News Special Report Hasn't Updated "Grape Vine" Story Yet
Last week (August 30th), Shannon Bream reported, during the Special Report "Grapevine" segment, this: "The labor situation in Wisconsin is so contentious even a parade has become a political football. The Marathon County labor council is not inviting Republican elected officials to its Labor Day parade in Wausau. So the Wausau mayor says the city will not help the council with the cost of staging the parade.Wisconsin was the site of a bitter political battle earlier this year over collective bargaining rights for public employees." On August 31st, it was reported that "a group of Wisconsin union officials has reversed its decision barring GOP politicians from marching in a local Labor Day parade, saying everyone would be allowed "because we don't want to have community groups and school bands affected." So far, Fox "News" hasn't provided an addendum. Maybe tonight??? I'm not holding my breath!
