Eric Bolling Adds Media Matters To The Cain Conspiracy

Glenn Beck had his Caliphate Clues, now The Five’s Eric Bolling has his Cain Conspiracy Cabal™. News Hounds reported Tuesday how Bolling blamed shadowy “Democrat” operatives for the Herman Cain sexual harassment allegations. Against all logic and evidence to the contrary, he contended the Democratic Party has been working behind the scenes to tear down Republicans and Right Wing candidates; this is just Cain’s turn in the dunk tank. Not content to leave it there, Bolling doubled down the next night. He added “the left wing nutjobs at Media Matters and all the other leftie blogs” (which includes News Hounds, I guess) to the clandestine group trying to take down Herman Cain. Watch:

The Five’s Eric Bolling Calls OWS Every Name In The Book, Then Defends Doug Schoen’s Phony Poll

Eric Bolling, Fox “News” Bully Boy and serial liar, took to the airwaves to smear the Occupy movement once again, although this time he eschewed wearing a tin foil hat. On yesterday’s show, and without pausing for breath, he called the OWS protesters, “Communist, Nazi, anti-Semites down here. Pot smoking, sex addicted morons, and you compare that to the Tea Party?” Clearly Kimberly Guilfoyle was amused because she laughed heartily at Bolling’s name-calling. However, Bob Beckel, who made the comparison, was not amused. He cried foul. Beckel has mentioned several times, on previous shows and in this segment, how he’s been forced to moderate his language when talking about Teabaggers because, as he has also explained, how angry it made his The Five co-hosts. They expressed their displeasure off the air and in commercial breaks. In fact, Beckel now calls them “The Tea People,” because of the severe browbeating he took. Yet, those same people feel that the Occupy movement can be described in almost sub-human terms and find it amusing.

Fox News Crew Maced and Beaten On Wall Street As Jon Stewart Mocks Fox’s Coverage Of Occupy Wall Street

As News Hounds has reported, Fox “News” has been dismissive of the Occupy Wall Street protests springing up across the nation. This seems odd, considering how much free publicity the unfair and balanced network gave to the astro-turfed Teabagger protests. Contrast that with Occupy Wall Street, which appears totally organic: A few weeks ago most people knew nothing of it and it has been growing daily, despite getting very little coverage in the MSM. This has obviously spooked the Fox “News” Channel because it has yet to accurately report on the protests. Instead the so-called news channel has employed the spin and ridicule for which it’s known when something disturbs The Force. Since the sharpest observer of today’s political scene remains a cable comedy show, Jon Stewart couldn’t help but point out the Fox News hypocrisy on OWS, with special shout outs to Sean Hannity and Steve Doocy. Hannity Pretends He Doesn’t Know Obama Is Not A Fan Of Farrakhan

Sean Hannity has been obsessing over Barack Obama’s “connection” to that black uber-boogeyman, Louis Farrakhan, since before Obama got elected to office. Unfortunately for Hannity, one of his own reports actually found that Obama is no fan of Farrakhan’s. So Hannity has been left to insinuate a relationship by harping on the fact that someone put Michelle Obama on the cover of a magazine with Mrs. Farrakhan. Thursday night (9/15/11), Hannity "forgot" his own reporting and “wondered” why the media has not asked Obama what he thinks of Farrakhan.

Mediaite Profiles Fox’s Spin Meister Frank Luntz

Long-time readers of News Hounds are well familiar with Frank Luntz, the so-called “pollster” who appears regularly on the so-called “news network.” Real pollsters try to get a candid snapshot of the public mood at any given time. On the other hand: Luntz poses the components in his snapshots to create the appearance of a public mood in order to push GOP talking points for Fox “News.” He is documented in these pages stacking focus groups to get more favorable responses on several occasions. He has also been caught haranguing his focus groups until they finally give him the answer he’s looking for. Luntz has also used his, err, talents to help the Republican Party fine-tune its message into easily digestible sound-bites, which don’t have to be true to be effective: “death tax” instead of “estate tax” or “tax relief” instead of “tax cuts.” His formulation “government takeover” of health care was Politifact’s Lie of the Year. That’s why it was so refreshing to see Mediaite tackle the problem that is Frank Luntz. Philip Bump writes:
