Leave it to Sean Hannity to respond to the firing of a career public official with a low-class, childish jeer. And lies.
Just last week, Trump aide Kellyanne Conway chided Stephen Colbert, with Hannity’s blessing, for not respecting the office of the presidency. Apparently respect for an FBI Director doesn’t count… although I think we all know Hannity would have sung a very different tune had Comey been another Trump toady and fired by a Democratic president.
Hannity opened his show by promising to reveal everything the “left and the destroy-Trump media” won’t. Now, it’s one thing to argue that Trump was right to fire Comey, even though Hannity conveniently disregarded the Nixonian implications. But Hannity deliberately besmirched (one of Hannity’s favorite words of accusation against the left) Comey:
HANNITY: James Comey, the former, now, FBI Director is a national embarrassment. It’s that plain, it’s that simple.
[…] Comey tonight should be ashamed of himself. Now, let’s start with facts and Hillary Clinton and the private email server…
I’ll spare you the details of that rehashing which went on for several minutes. But you should know that Hannity had the nerve to accuse the Clintons of “lining their pockets" while he ignored the Trump family’s unprecedented conflicts of interest and pocket-lining in the White House.
Hannity also went on and on trying to pretend that Russiagate is just a conspiracy theory:
HANNITY: Even James Clapper yesterday said that the Russia collusion talking point was not based on fact at all. It’s all predicated on one big lie, on innuendo, on bizarre conspiracies.
Fact check: That is not at all what Clapper said. What Clapper said is that there is no intelligence yet that “can definitively answer” the question.
HANNITY: So, you know what? To James Comey: good riddance. He deserves everything he got tonight. He has earned this, although the media … they’ll never tell you this.
Another thing the media never told you, according to Hannity? That President Obama “failed spectacularly.”
While he was at it, Hannity smeared Senator Charles Schumer, too. Apparently, a senator's office doesn't deserve respect either.
HANNITY: There’s Chuckie Schumer, crocodile tears, himself. FOAMING at the mouth earlier tonight over this news.
And look who tweeted during Hannity’s show: his most recent soulmate of hate:
Cryin' Chuck Schumer stated recently, "I do not have confidence in him (James Comey) any longer." Then acts so indignant. #draintheswamp

Hannity spoke from prepared remarks which suggests that Fox approved this pack of lies and childish invective.
Watch it below, from the May 9, 2017 Hannity.
The Foxies are under a serious criminal investigation, on top of the numerous lawsuits against the network. The masses should be questioning Hannie Pie about any knowledge he had about the ongoing racism and sexism at this satanic network. What does he really know? Who is he protecting? And why?
NOTE TO HANNITY
You are a national disgrace to your late parents. They are spinning in their graves. May God have mercy on their souls.
Comey’s firing convinces me Trump is running scared.
His staff apparently is unprepared for the firing and scrambling to explain it. I’m sure Trump is depending on his sycophants at Fox to once again clean up his mess. Hannity is all too willing to pitch in.
