Hannity Visibly Frustrated That Sen. Scott Brown Won’t Engage In Usual Anti-Obama Rhetoric
Fox News called Sean Hannity’s two-part interview last night (2/21/11) with Sen. Scott Brown last night, Sen. Brown’s Sex Abuse Revelation Part 1 and Part 2, and subtitled the segments, “The Massachusetts senator opens up in memoir” but it really should have been called, “Senator Brown Refuses To Engage In The Kinds Of Anti-Obama Attacks Hannity Tries To Push Him Into.” Brown also refused to give an inch on his conservative street cred at the same time that he distanced himself from the Tea Party. I’m not a Brown fan but I’ve got new respect for the guy. Tell me if you don’t think the same.

Scott Brown Shrugs Off Joseph Stack As Just Another Disgruntled Taxpayer
I don’t know which was more shocking: Senator Scott Brown’s shrugging off suicide pilot Joseph Stack as just another disgruntled taxpayer, Brown’s suggestion that his recent election would serve to prevent such tragedies from happening in the future, the disconnect between that attitude and Brown’s boastfulness about his national security mojo or the fact that host Neil Cavuto either didn’t notice or didn’t think it worth commenting about any of that? Nobody could answer the question. With video.

Why The Democrats Lost In Massachusetts
Brave New Films (with whom we are proud to be affiliated) asked Coakley campaign pollster Celinda Lake and Stephanie Taylor of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee for their thoughts on why Democrats lost the senate race in Massachusetts last week. Their answer is that Democrats need to be stronger progressives, not move to the center. With video.

Guest blogged by Aunty Em
Glenn Beck is so predictable; News Hounds takes no bonus points for having said just last week:
More predictions: Beckster will apologize [to Senator-elect Scott Brown for his comments about daughters, chastity belts, and dead interns], with a non-apology apology, and say he was joking. The right wing, who have forgiven him for everything else so far, will accept the apology, and life will go on. But how many more times will he get away with this kind of schtick?
With video. Continue reading >>
