Sarah Palin Calls Disgraced Veteran Allen West A War Hero

No sooner had Sarah Palin finished complaining to Sean Hannity about President Obama’s “disgusting attacks on people who he just happens to politically disagree with,” than she was back for Part 2 – and singing the praises of the unhinged, hate mongering Allen West, her first choice to be Mitt Romney’s vice presidential candidate.

With her hideously vicious smile, Palin said:

The liberal left is absolutely terrified of Allen West and what he represents. A war hero who honorably served our country continuing today in his official capacity as a representative… and the Democrats, they just don’t know what to do with this man so they ruthlessly attack him and, you know, they’ll stop at nothing to try to get someone whom they disagree with to sit down and shut up.

If Palin thinks she sees West’s military service from her house in Alaska, she really needs to take another look. The real Allen West’s military service ended when he came very close to being court-martialed for torture. As the New York Times noted in its report on West’s mistreatment of an Iraqi, “Colonel West deliberately disregarded Army rules and regulations, gambling—and eventually losing—a successful 22-year military career that seemed destined for further advancement.” In the end, West was allowed to resign with full benefits but was fined $5,000.

Some hero.

Not that Hannity clarified the record for the “we report, you decide” network’s viewers.

But as I wrote in a previous post, by all means, let’s let bygones be bygones because I’m totally with Palin on this one. I’d love to see West as the VP candidate, too.

This quote, taken from the provided news story, explains the result of the “torture.”

“Hamoody cracked and gave information about the planned ambush on West’s convoy, thwarting the attack.”

So, this “torture” lead to lives being saved? Why are you complaining?

Seeing as she never spent a day in uniform in her life, I fail to see how the Whore Of Babble-On is “infused & imbued with . . . the culture of military service”.

Unless you count her time as head of the AK National Guard, by virtue of being governor. And she was AWOL from that . . .

Iâd love to see West as the VP candidate, too.

As much as I’d still like to see Nikki Haley {aka Palin 2.0} in that spot, I’m starting to warm to that idea too, Ellen . . .

That may be what FINALLY convinces a certain segment of the unhinged right — the one’s that love to bleat “you only voted for Obama because he was black” — that we voted for Obama because he was the FAR superior candidate.
