If you were wondering whether Rupert Murdoch still thinks Dr. Ben Carson would make a "terrific" "real black president" despite being caught in a lie about West Point and his other bizarre statements - the answer appears to be yes.
You may recall that last month, Rupert Murdoch created quite a stir when he tweeted, "Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else."
Since then Carson has made a fool of himself on Fox News, when he was unable to explain his "alternative" to Medicare; shown his contempt for history and archaeology by insisting that the purpose of the Egyptian pyramids was to store grain; and caught in a lie about being "offered a full scholarship" to West Point.
But what's not to love if you're Rupert Murdoch? On November 7, Murdoch tweeted twice in support of his "real black" candidate who is now seen as the victim of liberal media bias:

Us libs are constantly smeared by right-wing talk radio addicts as “low information.” But how stupid and/or poorly informed does one have to be to realize Fox News’ defense of Ben Carson is nothing but a thin veneer of unadulterated bulls—t?
Well, I’ll answer my own question. Pretty stupid! Because all crackpot Ben has to do to defend himself is to attacking the media as picking on him. According to Fox, his contributions soared on that news.
As I mentioned in another thread, not only is Carson lying about West Point, he compounded the lie by bringing up another lie repeating an old, debunked right-wing conspiracy regarding Obama’s college records being sealed.
GOPTV™ ‘media critic’ (read: Fox News apologist) Howie Kurtz did an absolutely embarrassing tap dance whitewashing Carson today on “Media Buzz” (thusly named because Howie is clearly stoned on the air [grin]).
The good news for Carson is all the press about his West Point lie is distracting the media for his complete idiocy Joseph built the Egyptian pyramids. ;^)
