Megyn Kelly continued her efforts to make the shooting down of MH17 all about President Obama when she interviewed Rep. Peter King (R-NY) last night. What a coincidence that this shooting down of a Malaysian Airlines plane in Ukraine should also make King think of Benghazi!
The Kelly File purported to focus on the MH17 tragedy last night (there was also an additional hour of the show later in the evening) but Kelly and her guests were so obsessed with President Obama - and Benghazi - there was little time for the actual MH17 issues.
Although Kelly opened the interview questioning why the U.S. has not released information about the American passengers, at least King seemed to acknowledge that the tragedy wasn’t only about Obama.
But Kelly nudged King back to her main focus – while feigning objectivity. She asked about Obama, “What should he be doing? …What should our president do?”
King got the message:
KING: First of all, he shouldn’t be at fundraisers tonight. That’s absolutely disgraceful for the president of the United States at a time like this…
Kelly interrupted to probe his thoughts further on the subject. As if she hadn’t spent enough time already on it. In her most indignant, outraged voice, Kelly asked, “What is he thinking Congressman? Why is he doing that?”
KING: I have no idea, it’s something missing here. There’s something missing. Between whether it’s Benghazi, whether it’s now…
…It’s almost like an emotional barrier he has. Again, Benghazi – he’s out to Las Vegas, to raise money, after the Americans are killed in Benghazi. It’s a failure of leadership. Again, any president can make a mistake. But this is a pattern. It’s a long established pattern – in times of crisis, that he seems to just zone out.
Kelly could be heard murmuring her agreement.
This SOAB used to spend his (frequent) holidays drinking with terrorists and killers all over Ireland, spent many a long evening raising money from Irish Americans up and down the North-East corner – money which was then funnelled to an organisation that sourced and smuggled arms and bomb-making equipment into Ireland.
After being implicated in supporting the IRA’s terrorist bombings in London and Manchester and spreading IRA propaganda, King was declared an ‘undesirable’ by the British Government and barred from entry into that country. The BBC was even ordered not to replay any speech or comment by King.
How he continued to be accepted by the R-Souls’ and even became their spokesman on the ‘war on terror’ (what a crock!) shows just how despicable that party is. There is no depth to which they will not sink.
This is news to nobody, but – Fox is a disgrace to journalism….and to America.
