Although he claims the tweet was “sarcasm”, you really can’t tell if he’s trying to walk back his tweets because he went on to say, “they (Muslims) say that we should be killed all the time.”

Ellen, I’m going to have to disagree with you that O’Reilly was referring to NBC “analysis” and not the News. Listen closely to O’Reilly’s exchange with Bob Beckel. He begins by setting up his assertion with a comparison of, reporting of the water boarding issue, versus the reporting of the drone strikes. At this point O’Reilly could have clearly interjected the term “analysis”, or even implied that there was no “fair and balanced” reporting by NBC. But he didn’t! He clearly stated that “nothing” was reported by NBC. By stating “nothing” was reported, it is he that excludes news and “analysis.”
We all know that O"Reilly knew that NBC had broke the story. Moreover, he knows that his most avid viewers will not, and refuse to watch or hear anything from so-called liberal News outlets, particularly NBC! Knowing this, Bill can, will and has lied to his audience when the opportunity presents itself, especially if it allows an attack on NBC or its affiliates. I believe Bill knew exactly what he was doing, and like ooohhhhh so many times before… he got “busted!”

Not to take anything away from this horrible senseless tragedy, but how well does he think a young woman (or man) who spent 4,6 or 8 years training to teach elementary school children, will do against crazed gunman with semi-automatic weapons? Police officers and military personnel train for months, and continually to develop such skills. Not only that, they are called upon, and encounter such threats as part of their jobs. Outside of having a trained para-military/certified police/highly qualified educator/sociologist as teachers and principals, one would have to ask… what in the hell is Ablow thinking???
O’Reilly’s commentary is full of lies.
President Reagan started with 2,875,000 nonmilitary federal employees. After his eight year term the number of nonmilitary federal employees was 3,113,000. The factual increase is 238,000.

Given that O’Reilly puts forth the assumption that the government (SSDI) is paying for “all” disability claims, his claim that 3.1 million people have gone on government disability is also false. Between 2007 and April 2012, 1.6 million Americans have claimed Social Security Disability Insurance.

After fact-checking just two O’Reilly assertions, it became clear the talking points were propaganda. I’m sure if you go through the rest of his TP Memo, you’ll find even more lies.
