The Outrageous Quote of the Week poll is back! I may have been on vacation for much of May but Fox News outrageousness never takes a holiday. Check out the current crop of nominees after the jump.
Uma Pemmaraju, suggesting it was Jimmy Kimmel’s fault that Donald Trump agreed to debate Bernie Sanders because Kimmel proposed the idea on Jimmy Kimmel Live:
“Well, do you think he kind of got caught up in the moment when the idea was first proposed on live television, you know, with a talk show host talking there about, you know, the idea of putting those two together?”
Sheriff David Clarke, calling for police violence against anti-Trump protesters:
“The only thing they understand is force… These officers need to be allowed to take the gloves off and to take an offensive posture and become the aggressor..."
Melania Trump, inadvertently undermining her husband's claim that America is not already great:
“It’s great to be American, yes! …I love it here. This is my life and I have my family here and I love it. I love it from the first day I came here and I had a very successful modeling career and then I stayed here.”
Greta Van Susteren’s opening question in her fawning interview with Melania Trump:
“Here’s the question I’ve wanted to ask you for a long time. How many languages do you speak?”
The title of Bill O’Reilly’s Talking Points commentary:
“How Black Lives Matter is killing Americans”
Cast your vote below! The poll will close on Saturday, June 4, at 11:59 PM ET.
On the one hand, there’s O’Reilly ratcheting up a notch the standard ‘fair and balanced’ FOX News #BlackLivesMatter is a racist hate group bigoted vomit. If so many right-wing bigots didn’t accept this nonsense as fact it’d be laughable.
On the other, we have the 2nd biggest hemorrhoid in America (Trump being the 1st) Clarke advocating actual violence against protesters.
Violence wins. The nod goes to Clarke. It takes real talent to out a—hole O’Reilly. 👍
All worthy contenders. I gave the nod to tried-and-true Bildo O’Reilly.
