Although we know for sure that Fox will be pouring forth some awful rhetoric over the Orlando attacks, last week was a pretty mild week. Still, Fox News "mild" is still pretty outrageous. So check out the current crop of nominees for Outrageous Fox Quote of the Week after the jump.
Bill O’Reilly, legitimizing buddy Donald Trump’s attack on the Hispanic judge sitting on the Trump University fraud case.
“Summing up, the Trump U. case is certainly political to some extent, and it’s a very high-profile situation. Because of that, Talking Points believes the judge should recuse himself. Not because he did anything wrong, he didn’t, but to eliminate any doubt as to the motivation in court rulings.”
Bill O’Reilly, insisting buddy Donald Trump’s attack on the Hispanic judge sitting on the Trump University fraud case was not racist.
“You don’t use the ‘r word’ unless you’re David Duke, unless you have got a history of trying to denigrate minorities or other people. I mean, you need to have a perspective. That’s all I’m saying. I don’t think it was wise that Mr. Trump said that about the judge. It wasn’t wise."
Hannity show Question of the Day:
"What Clinton controversy should Donald Trump focus on most in his speech on Monday?"
Stacey Dash arguing that Donald Trump can win the African American vote:
“I know he can because black people like to make money. They like their money and what they’re not being given is the chance to do that and he will give them the tools and the opportunities. That’s what they need.”
Sheriff Joe Arpaio, defending Donald Trump from accusations of bigotry after his attacks on the Hispanic judge overseeing the Trump University case:
"He’s not a slave to the teleprompter. He’s the type of guy that speaks out. Sometimes his words are twisted. …At least he has the guts to speak out and backup what he says. …We need a guy that is brave, that doesn’t fall into these politics or the media."
