My apologies for having skipped the Outrageous Quote of the Week poll last week. But I think we’ll make up for it with this week’s crop. It includes outrageousness about the Flint water crisis, Planned Parenthood, Benghazi (natch) and even #Blizzard2016. Check ‘em out and get ready to vote!
The nominees are…
Jeanine Pirro making a not-so-thinly veiled threat to Governor Nikki Haley for implicitly criticizing Donald Trump in her State of the Union rebuttal:
“Your strategy is all wrong. Start supporting the frontrunner. …Be careful. Be very, very careful. Get in line behind our favorite. After all, in case you’ve forgotten, you work for us and you too can be fired.”
“We don’t know if John Kerry is mentally alive or not.”
“Is there anything more loathsome than Planned Parenthood, at this point?”
Andrea Tantaros, doing her part to use the “13 Hours” film as a campaign tool against Hillary Clinton:
“And frankly, if anyone sees this movie, which everyone should go see it, and then goes on to vote for Hillary Clinton, they’re a criminal. In my estimation.”
Chris Stirewalt, deflecting blame for the Flint water crisis away from Republican Governor Rick Snyder and onto the residents:
“If you were pouring water into a cup for your child and it stunk and it smelled like sulfur and was rotten, would you give that to your child? No. You’d revolt. You’d march in the street. You know, we’ve had a lot of demonstrations of late in the United States. …The people of Flint should have been protesting in the streets.”
Bill O’Reilly, after attacking the “Stop Hate, Dump Trump” group with vicious hypocrisy:
“Here, we are responsible, using facts to support our opinions. We practice democracy, freedom of expression, robust debate.”
Fox Nation headline politicizing the blizzard:
“#Blizzard2016: Seven ways snow in Washington is like our government.”
Jesse Watters “joking” about the Flint water crisis:
“It’s turning into Mexico. You can’t drink the water and the government is corrupt.”
The winner of our previous Outrageous Quote poll was Andrea Tantaros, for accusing President Obama of faking his tears over gun violence. Will she win again? Her fate is in your hands, dear readers!
