Fox News outrageousness last week was, not surprisingly, much about the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, over the police killing of unarmed African American teen Michael Brown. But we've got some doozies on Muslims, the roots of "Bless you" and a pair of 2012 Republican candidates.
And the nominees are...
Andrea Tantaros, attacking Eric Holder: “Bob, he runs that DOJ like the Black Panthers.”
Peter Johnson, Jr., defending a student who was allegedly disciplined for saying “God bless you”: “The roots of 'Bless you' go back to 77AD."
Carly Fiorina, denying there’s a GOP war on women: “We know that propaganda works and the war on women is shameless, baseless, propaganda, Put in another way, it’s a bunch of lies.”
Andrea Tantaros, on dealing with Muslims: “They’ve been doing this for hundreds and hundreds of years. If you study the history of Islam, our ship captains were getting murdered. The French had to tip us off. I mean these were the days of Thomas Jefferson. They’ve been doing the same thing. This isn’t a surprise. You can’t solve it with a dialogue. You can’t solve it with a summit. You solve it with a bullet to the head. It’s the only thing these people understand.”
Eric Bolling, implying that Attorney General Eric Holder can’t be fair in the Michael Brown investigation: “Will he be fair and just when he administers justice here?”
Steve Doocy, alleging liberal media bias in the Michael Brown case: “Exactly what happened in the events leading up to the shooting of an unarmed teenager in Ferguson Missouri still unclear; but that hasn’t stopped many in the mainstream media from taking sides and coming to conclusions.”
Todd Starnes: “The uncivil unrest in Ferguson, Missouri continues—and it appears the Obama Administration may be orchestrating the Michael Brown tragedy.”
Mark Fuhrman, playing a neutral law enforcement expert on Fox but nonetheless revealing his bias for the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown: “This is a hostage negotiation situation, not a homicide investigation. That’s what it’s turned into.”
Niger Innis discussing President Obama: “He’s been nothing more than Al Sharpton with a Harvard degree.”
Sean Hannity to an African American Committeewoman in Ferguson, Missouri: “Let me educate you about the legal system in America.”
Megyn Kelly, in a joint interview with 2012 GOP candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan: “Looking at you guys now, you look like a presidential team!”
