Outrageous Fox News Quote Of The Week Poll – 2/14-2/20/16

It’s time again for you to choose the most outrageous Fox News quote of last week. Not surprisingly, the majority of this crop of candidates are quotes either by or about Donald Trump. But all are worthy of your consideration.

This week’s nominees are:

Katie Pavlich, blaming “far left radical” teachers for the fact that millennials are liberal:

“Because who do you think has been teaching the generations coming up since the Viet Nam war? The same people who were protesting the Viet Nam war, the far left radicals who grew up in the 60s, into the 70s. They’re the ones who’ve been in the education system. Not just at the college level, but starting in kindergarten, that’s where it starts.”

Pastor Robert Jeffress, attacking Pope Francis for criticizing Donald Trump’s Christianity.

"Look, the pope needs to ask for Donald Trump’s forgiveness for saying such an outlandish thing. Look, I want to remind our viewers that it was exactly a year ago this week that ISIS chopped off the heads of 21 Coptic Christians on that Libyan beach and then looked into the camera and said we’re coming to Rome next. The pope, above all people, ought to understand that God has given government the role of protecting its citizens and upholding the laws."

David Webb, politicizing a police shooting to attack President Obama:

"Look at the record of President Obama and how he has reacted to law enforcement. He sees them like he see the troops, as a prop to be used when it’s necessary."

Donald Trump, boasting about his support for torture:

"Here we are, they’re chopping off heads, and we want information about them, and we can’t waterboard, OK? We can’t waterboard, no. So when they came to me… I said I’d approve it immediately but it’s gotta be worse and I got a standing ovation. …I do what’s right."

Donald Trump, insisting he never lies:

"I don’t lie, I mean I don’t lie. In fact, if anything, I’m so truthful that it gets me in trouble, OK? They say I’m too truthful. And, no I don’t lie. I don’t lie. I’m self-funding my campaign. I tell the truth."

I didn’t vote for it but if you add to Donald Trump’s cavalier comments regarding torture the background of his absolutely shocking recital in a speech of a World War II myth regarding Patton executing 49 prisoners with bullets dipped in pigs’ blood, it’s the most disturbing thing uttered by a candidate this election or any other I’m aware of.

I had to go with Trump’s statement that he never lies ,after all everything that erupts from his rosebud lips is lies, sorry fabrication.

Donald T. Rump’s lie about not lying is tempting. But I had to go with the Preacher Man.

This lunacy gets harder and harder to read every week, but Jeffress’ statement expecting the Pope to beg the forgiveness of a moron shows a special kind of crazy.

But, hey, Katie Pavlich, the kindergarten kids look so cute in their little red Mao jackets chanting “we will bury capitalism.” 👍

I’ll miss Fox News. The Comedy Channel just can’t keep up!
