The military does get its funding from tax dollars, doesn’t it? Therefore, the military IS a government program whether or not it’s run by civilians.

I thought he was going on in this vein because were it true then it wouldn’t have been G. Is. who massacred all those helpless Germans at Malmedy. Otherwise I’ll just stick with the usual theory that his big mouth and ego got him boxed into a corner again.The blowhard makes a factual error and his overwhelming ego just will not let him either correct it or even acknowledge that it’s been made.

Social Security, Medicare, National Institute for Health Center for Disease Control, the Interstate Highway System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the GI Bill, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Bonneville Power Administration, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

By contrast, a partial list of private corporations that have been abysmally managed include Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, Countrywide Financial, Washington Mutual, American Airlines, General Motors, Kodak and Polaroid.

As usual, Bildo doesn’t know his facts from his splotchy ass.

Truth is the military can’t even pass an audit. Their accounting is so screwed up the only thing they can do is rebuild the balance sheet based on what they can count then go from there.

I think a better example would be the post office. The only thing messing them up now is congress!
