Newty, we hardly missed you.
From TVNewser:
Newt Gingrich, a former Speaker of the House and 2012 presidential candidate, has rejoined Fox News as a political analyst. Gingrich had been a contributor for CNN, and was one of the four hosts of the re-imagined though short-lived Crossfire which was canceled one year ago this month.
You may recall that Gingrich was formerly a Fox News contributor. His contract was suspended in 2011 when he became a likely presidential candidate. In 2012, Gingrich and Fox got into it when he accused Fox of being in the tank for Mitt Romney and damaging his own campaign as a result. Fox hit back by saying, "This is nothing other than Newt auditioning for a windfall of a gig at CNN – that's the kind of man he is. Not to mention that he's still bitter about the fact that we terminated his contributor contract."
So, did Fox not mean it when the network accused him of being a liar? Or do they not care now that he is a liar?
We report, you decide.
