Neil Cavuto and Carl Cameron Cover For the Small Crowds John McCain's Drawing

This morning (November 3, 2008) on "America's Newsroom," Carl Cameron, who's traveling with the McCain campaign, filed a live report from Tampa, Florida as he waited for McCain to take the stage there. In it he enthusiastically reported that at a midnight rally in Miami last night, McCain drew "more than 10,000 people" (Clinton and Obama drew 50,000 in Orlando just over a week ago).

Moving on to talk about the Tampa crowd, Cameron said "it's a small crowd," only "about a thousand," and "I can tell ya it looks like it was set up with a perimeter and all for about ten times" more people. Here's video.

McCain Campaign Tries To Reconcile Contradictory Positions On Deficit

John McCain economic advisor Douglas Holtz-Eakin visited Hannity & Colmes last night (11/1/08) to attack Barack Obama's economic plan. But he was clearly flummoxed when asked by Alan Colmes to explain whether or not Sarah Palin was being truthful when she promised that a McCain/Palin administration would balance the federal budget by the end of their first term. With video.

Lying about Barack Obama runs in the McCain family

Daughter Megan claims NOW endorses her dad.

The McCain camp will say anything to get elected, even if it's not true. Yesterday 10/31/08 wife Cindy and daughter Megan appeared on FOX and Friends. Megan told this whopper, which Gretchen Carlson let go without comment, as it fit perfectly with the talking point they were trying to sell (Sarah Palin is a feminist).

Cavuto as a Mouthpiece for the GOP Radical Right - in Pictures

Take today (October 28, 2008). Take Fox's "business news" guy, Neil Cavuto.

Neil Cavuto Lets Newt Gingrich Lie Like a Pig About "Redistribution"

Over the weekend someone - Drudge? - the McCain campaign? - did "the Google" on "spread the wealth" (al la "Joe the Plumber") and came up with a seven-year-old Obama interview from Chicago public radio station WEBZ. During the interview, which was about the Civil Rights movement, Obama talked about the "redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues - "

"- of political and economic justice in this society. And to that extent as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical, it didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and the Warren Court interpreted it in the same way that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf and that hasn't shifted."
