Last weekend, Democrat Martin O’Malley left the three Fox & Friends hosts sputtering with his shredding of Donald Trump. Yesterday, host Tucker Carlson went one-on-one with O'Malley over the FBI reviewing new emails regarding Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin.
O’Malley was not quite as magnificent as he was last week but he was a bit boxed in by the topic this time. However, he still pulled off some great moves that more Democrats and liberals on Fox should employ. For example, after briefly answering a question about the emails, O’Malley pivoted to go on offense against Trump:
O’MALLEY: I just heard Mr. Trump [in a clip played beforehand] talk about the greatest scandal since Watergate. The greatest scandal since Watergate is Donald Trump’s Russian allies breaking into the Democratic Party’s headquarters.
Of course, Carlson interrupted. “I’ve heard this talking point before,” he said.
Later, after O’Malley answered a question about Attorney General Loretta Lynch chatting privately with Bill Clinton a while back, O’Malley struck again.
CARLSON: If it’s not corruption, it gives the appearance of corruption. And everyone’s full of principle now and standing on it but where were you then? I mean, that was an appalling – appalling moment. No?
O’MALLEY: Look, in a campaign and in politics, there’s all sorts of things that give rise to perceptions. We’re all concerned about perceptions. I’m very concerned about the fact that Donald Trump from get-go and even in the debate said that if he were to win this election, he would jail his opponent. That’s some tinhorn dictator stuff, the likes of which we’re not accustomed to seeing in our country’s election. I think more appalling is that they, that the Republicans would nominate this fringe, third-party fascist candidate who is facing, himself, 12 complaints – 12 complaints, 12 complaints by women for sexual assault!
Carlson interrupted to complain, “There you are with the name calling. Come on. Look, we have adult viewers on this show who want adult answers, so maybe you could provide one."
I guess when Carlson called Colin Kaepernick “that idiot football player,” that didn’t count. Or maybe it was just part of what Carlson calls “adult” discussion.
Things got a bit heated after that. O’Malley demanded to know if complaints of Trump’s sexual assault “doesn’t concern you, Tucker?”
Unfortunately, O’Malley was not able to take control of the discussion as well as he did the previous time but he still did pretty darned well.
Watch him below, from the October 30, 2016 Fox & Friends.
I agree – not the brightest but Lil Tuck IS one of the snarkiest, most juvenile yakkers on FOX “news”.
Yeah, the suits shouldn’t allow him to be a host because of his childish demeanor but I’ve always been more concerned about the suits allowing a guy who founded and is the main editor-in-chief of a right-wing website (despite his claims that The Daily Caller “won’t be a right-wing site”) to host a show.
Here’s a recent example of how Lil Tuck allows his website to cover the issues…

With all my love,

Tucky was never the brightest light at this network. The suits should never allow a kid to host a show.
