Lynne Cheney - wife of the torture-lovin', WMDs-toutin' former vice president - promoted a new line that is almost as certainly as valid as the excuse to invade Iraq: that Monica Lewinsky has come forward now in order to help Hillary Clinton's upcoming 2016 presidential campaign. Not surprisingly, Fox host Laura Ingraham bought the idea just like her network bought the Iraq war.
First up, natch, was Benghazi. "i think that the issue of Benghazi is devastating," said Mrs. Iraq War about Hillary Clinton. "She was Secretary of State, an ambassador's killed, three others and then there's this huge effort to make it appear as though this has nothing to do with terrorism or an organization affiliated with Al Qaeda. ...If she wants to be a leader, she needs to take responsibility for what happened on her watch and this is just, you know, one in a long series of foreign policy disasters in this administration."
Not that Ingraham questioned whether Cheney is in any position to point fingers at anyone else about taking responsibility for "foreign policy disasters." Instead, Ingraham asked what grade Cheney would give Clinton as Secretary of State and then complained that Cheney "must be grading on a curve" for givng Clinton a C or C-. "That's an amazing grade! ...I want you as my professor when I'm in school!" Ingraham marveled.
Ingraham did ask Cheney to compare Benghazi to Iraq, by referring to viewer comments suggesting the Iraq debacle was much worse. "That's what we're getting on Twitter!" Ingraham said contemptuously, as if it was just some kind of crazy internet conspiracy theory.
Cheney changed the subject - to make Clinton look bad:
It's astonishing to me how this whole idea becomes distorted when it's about the Clintons. You're doing a section on Monica Lewinsky, I noticed at the top of the show. I really wonder if this isn't an effort on the Clintons' part to get that story out of the way.
...Would Vanity Fair publish anything about Monica Lewinsky that Hillary Clinton didn't want in Vanity Fair?
It's hard to imagine either Hillary or Bill cozying up to Lewinsky for any reason. But if you read Lewinsky's comments in the excerpts from her article that have already been released, it's even harder to imagine her working on behalf of Hillary.
However, Ingraham loved the suggestion so much, she didn't even seem to notice how Cheney had just deflected from the embarrassing subject of Iraq. "MMMM!" Ingraham said, as though she had just been handed the most delicious treat for dessert ever. "That's VERY interesting! I love this theory! It actually makes perfect sense and I'm really mad I didn't think of it first."
Ingraham's new BFF Cheney continued, noting that Rand Paul has recently been criticizing Bill Clinton's sexual behavior. "Getting it out of the way so we can say one more time 'it's old news' seems to me like a strategy or a tactic perhaps."
Later in the show, Ingraham reiterated this theory. Can there be any doubt it will be repeated often on Fox in days to come? Without any attempt to find out if it's - you know - true?
’Nuff said.

Lady Cheney should be questioned about her family’s dirty laundry.
GO F*** YOURSELF!
Gawd, how I hate these people!
Has she appeared on Fox yet?
If not, she will…….
The part that got me was the idea that Vanity Fair wouldn’t print anything without the permission of the Clintons.
Both Lynne Cheney and Laura Ingraham know what they’re saying are lies, but they flat-out don’t care. If they can get a partisan advantage out of it, they’ll say literally anything.
