We didn’t get a chance to write about this but a Fox & Friends stunt of throwing an axe on a New York City street “raised the bar for just how bad they are,” as Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore put it.
For some reason, the Fox News production crew did not make sure nobody was standing in harm’s way. So when Fox’s Pete Hegseth’s axe sailed over the wall holding the target, the axe hit a member of the military drum corps who was standing behind it.
“We give Fox a hard time about irresponsible journalism,” Wilmore said, barely keeping from laughing, “but in this case, they’re just plain irresponsible.”
“Technically, this is an attack on our military,” Wilmore noted.
It gets funnier from there.
Watch it below, from the June 24 The Nightly Show.

The drummer should sue the Foxies for injuries to his arm. They have deep pockets.
